A great moment from last week was our twins working hard to improve their ability in long division. This is a key skill and often overlooked in the classroom. After some practice, our students were able to divide a number over 50 billion by 19. Great work! We particularly like how this student is making decisions on whether that element of the division requires some notes or the numbers flow nicely therefore are able to complete that element of the division using mental maths.
