I don’t know…
When we say “I don’t know” we give up :( but at Brilliant Minds, we try to encourage you to say “Why don’t I know?” What’s the difference? Well, the second sentence is a question and our brains work better when we keep asking ourselves questions. The two sentences sound almost exactly the same, in lessons we work on what other questions we can think about when we don’t know something straight away. Remember how far you have come with your learning and everything you already know. Life is a journey :)
Nerves
Being nervous is natural, this means you care about what you are doing. At Brilliant Mind’s we focus on improving your Maths and English so that nerves seem to be forgotten about. We practice questions and ask you to share your ideas with others in small groups. Students soon start becoming friends with one another and we have good students that visit us already.
Be your best
